High-quality, "build-your-own" cable kit suitable for general motorcycle throttle application One end of the inner wire is fitted with a carb nipple (nominally 3mm dia x 3mm). The site end will need to be cut to length and the required nipple soldered into place. PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT use a propane type torch to heat and flow solder into the wire. This is likely to overheat the wire, causing it to become brittle and break. We recommend immersing the wire ends in a molten solder bath, such as that in a solder pot. The ferrules and adjusters are a snug fit. They may be bonded into place if preferred, or you can use a center punch to make a small indention in the side. The Kit Includes: 1.35 meters (4.4 feet/4 feet 4.8 inches/52.8 inches) of 5mm OD black PVC coated, spiral wound, Teflon lined outer conduit 1.6 meters (5.2 feet/5 feet 3 inches/63 inches) of 1.5mm OD galvanized steel wire (7 x 7 strand) 3 ferrules, 5.5mm OD nose 3 ferrules, 6.3mm OD nose 1 6mm x .75 x 27mm mid-adjuster 1 6mm x 1.00 x 32mm adjuster screw with nut 2 neoprene adjuster boots 1 brass ball nipple, 5mm OD (1.6mm bore) 1 brass barrel nipple, 5mm DIA x 7.5mm (1.9mm bore) 1 brass barrel nipple, 6mm DIA x 4.2mm (1.7mm bore) 1 brass barrel nipple, 6mm DIA x 8mm (2.1mm bore) 1 brass barrel nipple, 6mm DIA x 9.5mm (2.1mm bore)
