Solid
This is a must for money clip; my first one lasted nearly 9yrs. Solid product. Further, keeps everything flattened, no pocket sticking out etc…

Cool EDC Gizmo
First of all, know what you are getting into with this. It’s an EDC gizmo for those of us who are into that. It’s not the best money clip. It’s not the best knife. That’s ok. The construction is sturdy. It looks cool. I don’t always carry cash, and my usual minimalist wallet doesn’t have a great storage option for it, so I got this to throw in my pocket with a few bills when needed. It works great for that. Do not overfill the money clip, or the blade gets difficult to remove, otherwise it is very easy to get to. Having an extra blade is never a bad idea, but this knife is very much a light-use backup option.

Top Notch Everyday Carry
I picked up this money clip on a whim with a gift card a friend had given me. Since it arrived, it has not left my pocket. Pros: - Knife is sharp, and stays sharp with repeated use - Looks great - Firmly holds cards/cash as a good money clip should - Knife will sharpen easily, if needed - Conceals well when needed. You can take this into a football stadium without it being confiscated or being given a second look. Cons: - The clip can hold a max of maybe 5-6 cards before it pushes against the knife retaining lock. After that, you cannot remove the knife - The blade has maybe 1-2 good control services on it, and then the loop ring at the end. As a result, you'll most likely use this blade for basic utility cutting and little else. I rely on my Gerber Contrast for anything more complicated than cutting open a package. All told, I would definitely buy another if mine broke. Worth the price of admission, IMO.

handy, versatile pocket knife
Most of my adult life I have carried some kind of pocket knife. A pocket knife and a flashlight are two things that can make your everyday life so much easier and having one of each makes me better prepared at all times. When I need to open a package or cut a string or plastic tie, I want to be able to grab a sharp blade, use it, and put it away securely. Often I will already have my hands full at the time, so one-handed operation is important. I bought this money clip knife intending to use it for it's intended purpose, but soon discovered a variation that works much better for me. Instead of using it as a money clip, I use the clip to attach the kinife to my pants pocket. With the clip on the outside, the knife part is secure inside my pocket. I can access the knife by slipping my thumb inside the pocket, release the blade and remove it in one easy motion. The clip and the rest of the case stay in place. Replacing the blade after use is relatively easy also, though a little bit of practice makes that process go smoother. For putting the knife away, the blade needs to be lined up just right with the case. One important point needs to be stressed here: THIS IS NOT A SELF-DEFENCE KNIFE. I read some comments and questions here from people fantisizing about using this blade against attackers or to defend themselves. DON'T even think about it! It's not that kind of knife and it would never work for that. This knife will stay handy and secure in my pocket. When I need it, it is easy to withdraw and them put safely away. The blade was very sharp right out of the box but it stays put until I need it.

Not quite as advertised
Revised: This is not a combination money clip and pocket knife. It can only really be used easily for one or the other function at any given time. The knife can be drawn easily only if the clip is empty. And it is completely unsuitable for holding or protecting cards. That said, the knife design itself is unique. It’s minimalist, but sturdy and helpful for all pocket knife tasks. I was very disappointed, though, that the item wasn’t a true combination as stated.

Never go without a knife again
I've always been pleased with Gerber knives and tools, but that quality usually comes with some weight. Ordinarily not a problem for me at work, but I live in sunny Florida, so the heat often makes wearing shorts appealing, especially on days off. I got this little thing to replace my old knife that lost a screw holding it together, wanted a fixed blade this time, and this does the job. Obviously for bigger jobs it's less than ideal, but that's clearly not what it's meant for. Everyday tasks though, it's perfect. The knuckle ring and grip are surprisingly effective, even for XL size hands like mine, and it draws smoothly with one hand. Best of all, it's so light. I've clipped it to athletic shorts with no worries of losing it or having it pull down my shorts, which is really nice when I am off somewhere after work or on the weekend and don't really feel like wearing something less comfortable. Only real drawbacks are the size and handle length, but there's nothing hidden or deceptive about either of those things, you know what you are getting and it's obvious what it can't do. The only real complaint I have is that the knife fits in the sheath one way, so you have to be mindful of which side it's on when drawing and putting away, since that will determine where the blade faces when drawn.

Really solid product. Poor Choice for quick draw knife fights.
This is a substantial money clip, good heft for its size. All of the other reviews are correct- with more than a few bills and 4 or so cards, the knife is difficult to remove with out sliding the credit cards down an inch or so. I really don't mind in the slightest, as I didn't purchase this for frequent quick draw knife fights, in any event, this is a poor knife fighting knife, though easily sharpened and quite nice for small utility needs (such as opening other packaging from Gerber- seriously guys, I shouldn't need the knife in the package to open the package that the knife is in) I DID purchase this because I liked the look of the clip and wanted one that would last. In that respect, I think this one is a winner- it appears to be very durable, and I expect to use it for many years to come (just not when i'm flying).
