I will definitely reorder this item in the future (but it will be in the faaaaaar future, because I cannot imagine how to do any damage to them. I have experienced none of these problems. The thimble stays on while I'm sewing, it fits comfortably, and it is not at all awkward to use, as I had feared. I only needed the small but all sizes come in the package. I like the deeper dents in the thimble for connecting with the needle. That part works great. The thimble can be pinched to make it tighter on your finger. The only thing I don't like is my thread gets caught under the top side where it is adjustable and I frequently have to stop and untangle the thread from the thimble. If that wasn't the case they would be perfect. I would purchase again because I do like the thimble.
