Pop the covers, loosen the anchoring screws, place on top of Jeep to get proper mounting bracket spacing. Adjust mounting bracket space. Tighten screws, replace covers & repeat for 2nd rack. Update: After driving the Jeep for 2 days with rack installed I am reporting that it does have noticeable wind noise and a whistling noise.
