This soy bean flour does not have a bitter taste I add it to vegetable patties and to baked goods in order to augment the protein for the whole family. If you add one quarter of a cup to two cups of whole grain flour you have a complete protein. This way your cake becomes a healthy treat. This brand is cheaper than others but they charge shipping so it costs the same. However it is really worth more because of the quality and taste, We keep it in the freezer so it always stays fresh.
