These are easy to read and my 9yo with dyslexia loves them! They have really encouraged him to read over the past few years! Fun stories!

Manga readers BEWARE
As a kid I had the whole mini collection of the black and white adventures chapter. I found out the mini volumes don’t have the true ending and omit some things. So I decided to buy the full volumes. I bought this one expecting it to have more content than the first volume of the mini volume but to my surprise this has the exact same number of chapters, yet is more expensive! As someone who had the ending of the HGSS chapter already I was disappointed in this. Be warned.

Arrived poorly trimmed
The edges of the manga are trimmed quite badly, and text is cut off on most of the pages. Will be requesting a refund.

Not 192 pages...
So, while they are finally releasing the black and white series in regular manga format instead of the shorter and wider version of it, the volume is the same size as the first one, at about 96 pages. It was quite disappointing, and not just because it was double the price. I was hoping for it to be both volumes 1 and 2 of the smaller format in one (the way it should have been in the beginning) but I was mistaken. Amazon has this at 192 pages, and it sure isn't that. I will be buying volume 2, just to see if they will be combining 2 and 3, just in case these 4 chapters were cut off from a the last volume of the heart gold and soul silver chapters, but if it is the same size, it's not worth the money.
