Is there any caffeine in the tea?

Black, green, oolongs, white - all these teas have caffeine. The caffeine content in tea is approx. 1/3 of caffeine of coffee. Caffeine level is very similar in all these types of tea as they all come from the same plant Camellia Sinensis. Teas can be decaffeinated through a special process. Also, you may opt for herbal infusions that are made from plants, that don't contain any caffeine, such as Chamomile, Peppermint, Rooibos (also called red tea), and many many others!

How is the tea decaffeinated?

I don’t believe this tea is decaffeinated. It may have less caffeine naturally than some other black teas but I don’t drink tea for caffeine, only for taste.

Has anyone else had bags with black spots?

My recent order did not have any black spots. The tea seems fine. However, I did note that these tea bags do not have any tags. Not a big deal, but different from my prior order.
