The first one broke while moving when the movers dropped the box (I hadn't wrapped it so that's on me). The second one I had for YEARS and the numbers finally started washing off, but it was 6+ years of frequent use and dishwasher runs, so that says a lot about the durability of this measuring cup. Overall, I highly recommend this cup if you want something that will stand up to frequent use and, unlike the cheaper measuring cups, won't have the numbers wash off in the first ten uses.
