It also is easy to clean you just remove the screws from the screen and get a scrub brush with soap and water or some type of multi-purpose cleaner and the dirt comes off easily the fan blades itself white clean easily I don't recommend trying to remove the fan blades from the mechanism just wipe the blades off and then that should be good enough and then replace the screens with the screws and you'll have clean fresh air instead of doing a lot of dust that is a great product and I'm happy that I invested in it and it saves money too. I haven't had to clean the one I have other than to dust off the outside - I don't think there is a way to get to the fan blades to actually wipe them down.
