I realize that electronics can fail and I guess this one got past quality control. I put the old broken screen back on just to verify and it works. Returning for a refund. Plus you take a risk of damaging one of the super fragile ribbon cables like I did. I’ve worked with electronics for years and still wasn’t careful enough. Now I have paid $150 to get the screen replaced and the home button replaced. It would randomly chose something besides what you wanted. For example entering your lock screen passcode, if you wanted 2 it would pick 6. The screen protector that it comes with is worthless. I now noticed that the seam where the screen meets the side of the phone is coming apart.
