(The tables were oval & square.) It arrived with deep creases. After a few days of lying flat on the tables, it was no better so I flipped it over and ironed the padded "felt" side it with my steam iron. It was perfect. Laid out on tables and began trimming using dress-making scissors. After a few inches. I taped the cut section to the table with painters tape, repeating this process until the pad was cut to the size of the two "mismatched" tables & secured at several places. I needed to remove the pad until needed, but left a few strips of tape in place under the edge of the tables. On the day, I matched up the tape on the pad with the tape on the tables. Perfect fit. Placed cloth on top.
