I'm in the market for a new media controller for my Xbox one, which is connected to to my TV box, Netflix, games etc. I was going to just buy the Xbox brand remote, but against my better judgement I bought this one. It's a shame because it really does look good. The feel and quality of the housing and the subtil softer rubberised buttons of the keyboard are brilliant. But hardware wise, it's just a lot of buttons sent to a USB radio receiver that copies commonly known inputs of Android and Windows functions. To be clear ear this does not work with Xbox or Xbox one directly. The way it seems to be worded is as if that were true, but in reality it's just technically possible to run emulated Xbox games on a PC c&u use this remote as if it were an Xbox controller. But at that rate just use an Xbox controller!? Even if you didn't have one you could buy why an old corded one for a lot less than what I paid for this. To be constructive though, if this remote could just update 8-bits firmware to be able to communicate just like an Xbox one controller then that would be me sold. But that's never going to happen, and I should just not have been so so greedy and just gotten an Xbox media remote for less. This things basically and overdone universal remote. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended for HTPC *by A***R on 13 April 2019* I have been looking for a decent KB/M combo for controlling my HTPC from the couch without sacrificing any functionality. I originally considered small footprint keyboards. Got this on a flash deal and I love it. Replaceable battery pack is well marked and appears to be a common model (in case you need to replace it). Mine stays charged for about a week before needing recharged, maybe less if left on. Charges in an hour or so via USB. Buttons are easy to use and have a clear tactile detent when pressed. Great range, haven't had any issues immediately connecting when switching off and on. Construction seems solid - no loose parts or weirdness. Windows 7 immediately recognized and no need to install drivers. Has an interesting feature that accelerates mouse movement to better get around screens with its small trackpad.
