Big Buy, Low Cost
Okay background story first. I'm a college student. lotsa stress getting all my papers done and such right? Well one of the things me and a group of friends do is play pool to blow of steam. So i play at least 5 hours a day everyday. its kinda a ritual. This pool cue is AMAZING. For the cost i paid this cue is the samurai sword of pool players. Right outa the box you look at it and it looks smooth and straight, 2 important things for pool sharks to have in their cue. You take it out of the box and its beautiful to hold. The weight could be a bit heavier but that's pure preference. The grip is some kinda smooth rubber unlike the solid wood or tightly woven string that's popular. The rubber stop at the back of the stick is solid and you wont have to worry about the weight coming out the back from repeatedly putting the stick on the ground. when you screw the two pieces together you can feel a good solid no-wiggle connection. want to check if its straight? lay it down on a empty pool table and roll it from side to side. there's no bumping or anything. rolls just as a solid cylinder would. moving up the pool stick to where it slides over your fingers as you shoot. this is the best part by far. when they made this cue the way they painted this part and the rest of the stick is awesome. the part you grip at the part doesn't slide well. that means good grip. the part that slides in or on your fingers is so smooth its like sliding a pool ball across the table manually. so smooth..... anyway. last part. the tip. as far as tips go its pretty average. if you know how to shape and scuff it then you got a good tip if you work it right. HOWEVER!!!!! i highly recomend not breaking with this cue! high power high impact shots seem to damage the tips even-ness. meaning you'd have to scuff and shape it after every game and that shortens tip life. other than that i got nothing else guys (or girls, always good to see the ladies take an interest)OH and the carrying case is very handy USE it. besides that great cue. Straight, good grip on back hand, good slide on front hand, solid construction, good tip. oh and did i mention this thing looks so good. great buy.

It's sturdy and performs well. Make shots smoothly.
Yes accused sure did come in handy the first time I used it I won my first game even against more experienced player than myself. And I like to think that it was a cue that covered a lot of more difficult shots that I probably would have never made with a crooked cue from the pool hall. I like the fact that the outer layer is made of a thinner material that is made out of titanium so I know it will last forever and that it makes the q more sturdier and straighter. So far I'm pretty happy with it and how it performs.. if anyone is thinking about getting one of these cues I highly recommend it! Not to mention one more important thing is that it was made well the quality of it was really good. It didn't have any damage when I got it. And if the queue is still straight I was very lucky that it came together all in one piece it works well. And when you screw the top piece onto the bottom piece of the queue it's very solid and sturdy there's no wobble. On the threading and makes it nice and tight. And that's very important!

Misleading description
Trademark Global Metallic Blue Two-Piece Titanium Billiard Cue. This is a very misleading statement. After reading this statement, one would believe that the pool cue is made of titanium. It's not, the only thing that is titanium is the little ring around the tip of the stick and maybe the rings where the two pieces fit together. There is another description of the cue stick where it says it's made from composite graphite and titanium which it appears to be. However I'm not disappointed because I believed at the price it was selling for that it would be more composite than titanium which isn't a bad thing. It's a much nicer stick than the ones provided by the pool halls. The cue is straight, has a screw on tip and is nice looking and does the job it was designed to do. The case that came with it is nice. I feel that it's worth the price I paid for it. It arrived in 3 days with the free shipping option.

Good Weight, Straight, and Plays Smooth
This billiard cue stick is solid and well-balanced. It feels comfortable in the hand, has a nice weight to it, and shoots straight with no wobble. The tip grips the cue ball well, and the finish looks clean and professional. Whether you’re a casual player or upgrading from a cheap house cue, this one makes a big difference in control and accuracy. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good. Overall, a dependable cue that plays smoothly and feels great on the table.

Not good quality.
First, the stick I received was WARPED, contrary to the description of the stick as being titanium/graphite and warp resistant. Of course, that's not surprising since it does NOT appear that they sent me a titanium lower shaft. It seems to be plain WOOD, and even has a wood-grain knot visible on the surface. This of course means that the design I received is NOT the same as that in the picture. The lower shaft is plain whitish yellow wood grain, not the sharp blue & black in the picture that matches the upper half. The upper half does not have the black diamond design mentioned in the description either, but rather a stripe design. I would not mind the altered stripe design much, except the design is uneven, i.e. the four stripes in the design are NOT evenly placed and thus don't line up with the four stripes near the butt, on the other side of the grip. I feel like this seller is advertising falsely, or else someone somewhere sent me the wrong item. Unacceptable! Also unacceptable: Amazon doesn't allow me to give this 0 stars, what it truly deserves. Why not Amazon? Movie critics get to give 0 stars.

$15-$20 cue at most: First cue was a bum cue. 2nd Cue was fine, but a wood chip came off after a few breaks
(2012/10/23 - updated review, added new comments to bottom, wood chipping off the cue) Intrigued by the price and that it supposedly has a screw-in tip, and knowing I needed a spare cue, I decided to order this. At the time I ordered it, a few days ago, it was listed with an MSRP of 99, on sale for 29. I would never pay 99 for any basic wooden cue. For something like this, I might pay 30ish max. When I got it, it was bent.. sure enough, like some of the others had said. Looked like a defect at the factory or the wood warped while being shipped to America. My replacement cue was perfect though, smooth rolling, no issues. Read below for more details. * TIP: For anyone curious, the tip appears to be a 'nickle' tip. Also, the description says it is a screw-in tip, but I could not manage to unscrew it. Perhaps they used glue on the threads, or perhaps it's not really a threaded tip. I don't want to damage it by trying to force it off. PROS: * Inexpensive * High quality, good-looking pattern, differentiates itself from the usual off-the-wall cue * Nice solid feel to it * The taper came pre-sanded and is very smooth, even when the humidity is a little higher than normal in the billiard room. Didn't need any gloves or hand chalk while using. * It breaks sharply and nicely, and shots are crisp and clean. CONS: * First cue was bent, and the case was damaged (second one was fine) * Can't seem to unscrew the screw-in tip * The tip is slightly ever so much gently, off-center MY RATING: I can't give this a 5 because of the issues I had with the first one, and because the tip isn't exactly center. I won't give it a 3 because, for the price, I really do like the cue. So i give this 4 stars. For general breaking, or something around the house as a spare/extra, this is great. Excellent to let guests use and not have to worry about them messing up your nice cues. Could also be used at your local hall if you like. It's better than what's on the wall, and looks sharp. * CUE #1: So I ordered it. It came within a couple of days, it was well packed. Upon opening the amazon box, there was a small rectangular box inside of all the packing material. Upon opening the rectangular inner box, I immediately saw that the included case was damaged. The end of the case didn't even appear to be properly glued on, and as such, was open, and the case was useless at that point. Wasn't interested in the case anyhow, but that's just annoying. Opened the case, and the cue was nicely wrapped in cellophane. The pattern on the cue is actually pretty high quality, which was cool. It's your standard wooden two piece cue pretty much. Unwrapped the cellophane, screwed it together, and layed it on the table to roll it for straightness. It was bent well enough to make me gag. I had eyed the cue before putting it on the table, but I didn't want to believe that my eyes were telling me it was bent. Sure enough, it had a lop in it, probably about half an inch as you rolled it across the table. The handle portion of the cue was straight, it was the tip side which was wobbly. The tip was centered perfectly though, which was nice. Contacted Amazon, and they sent me a replacement the next day. Kudos to Amazon! * CUE #2: Opened the box, same as before there was lots of packing material, and an inner rectangular box. Opened the inner box, and this time the case wasn't damaged in any way. I opened the case, and the cue inside was wrapped in cellophane and, like the one prior, the pattern on the cue was very nice. Screwed the cue together and rolled it on the table. It rolled perfectly, smoothly, without an issue. Very straight and true. My only gripe is the tip is slightly off center, just enough to notice it by eyesight while rolling. ~*********~ * 10/23/2012 UPDATE on CUE #2: I lowered my rating to 3 stars, to signify that it's "ok". Wouldn't pay more than $25 for this stick..to be honest, would rather pay close to $15! After about 10 standard breaks (no hard breaks, just the usual break), a chip of wood came off behind the ferrule. The shaft must be pretty soft wood, and after thinking about it and looking at it, it really does seem like standard soft pine which was turned down. The tip remains just fine, in fact hardly a mark on it from the breaks. The ferrule has been pushed back into the wood and the chip flew off onto the table. I've attached a photo of this in the gallery.

Very nice for the price
I purchased the Trademark Blue Dragon Pool Cue as a gift for my 14yr old son. He's semi new to the game but wanted a cue upgrade. I wanted a nice cue but one that wasn't too expensive, and this fits the bill perfectly. I was especially surprised at how nice the case is, it seems durable and looks good as well. The cue is a good 20oz, came with extra screw in tips, the colors are vibrant and the dragon looks cool. My son can't wait to try it out!!

Nice beginner cue.
I purchased this pool stick for a good female friend of mine whom wants to learn how to play pool. It's not a bad little beginner stick. It was kind of underweight (ordered a 20oz and it was 19oz) but I really don't care. It didn't have a "grip" on it, just shellacked, but that gave me something to customize for my friend. I got some tennis racket wrap and made a nice grip for it (I like it almost as much as my viper rampage spider 1501 grip now... but not quite) so that boosted the weight to about 19.5oz. I loved the case, I was tempted to keep it for myself... it has enough space to stick a cube of chalk in with a glove. All in all it was a good buy.
