I open the brand new box, still in the wrappings. I then went to charge the headset, with a smart IQ wall charger. After it was completed charging I noticed the blue (indicting fully charged) was a little dim, and took notice of this at the time. When I tried to turn on the headset, it wouldn't turn on. I've had Bluetooth headsets through the years, so I'm not new to how they function and pairing with your device(s). I was stumped. This nice looking headset, which is very comfortable, even though it seems somewhat thick wasn't working. I re-read the instructions and it says DO NOT use a charger over "5 volts", or it will burnout the circuitry. Well, apparently, even if a charger says it will recognize the device it's charging and safely charge it, it might still harm a fragile circuitry. I think this is what happened and explained this to the seller. The next day they said they were sending me a brand new one at no charge and I wouldn't need to send back the "broken one". It is rare these days to find a company that places the customer above it's profits. This seller/company is one of those companies. I can't recommend this product more or the good people behind it. I bought it based off of reviews and we bought 2 one for me and one for my Husband. I am a HUGE Plantronics fan and I had lost my Plantronics Voyager Legend 5200 about a year ago. I have been trying to bring myself to spend another $130 on a new one but just couldn't do it because we have had a lot going on. So, I bought this...FIT/COMFORT: It's not nearly as comfortable especially for someone who wears glasses which is what I really liked about the Plantronics Voyager Legend 5200 headset I had. It is much more ridged than my plantronics was but it is light weight and even for someone that has smaller ears like me it still fits nice & doesnt feel like it will fall off. I spent 4 hours talking on the phone with my sister the first night I got it and it started to make my ear ache where the ear bud sat in my ear, I even changed out the size of the ear buds to see if that would help, it didnt help.VOLUME: The volume is ok but I would prefer it to be louder because sometimes I am in the car when I'm working and there can be a lot of noise and I'm getting older!!!RECIVING END: I talked to several people on the phone and they all said that I sounded clear no feedback or issues there.FUNCTION: It has good functionality easy to swivel it to change ears, all the buttons pretty much mimic that of my Plantronics that I had. I would have like it to have it tell me what the talk time available was when I turned it on like my Plantronics did as well as sink to my contacts so that it would tell me the name of the person calling based on my contacts in my phone instead of just telling me the phone number.OVERALL: Decent headset for the price and moderately comfortable. The fact that it goes both inside AND loops around my ear keeps it in place, while having buttons on the back, rather the earpiece, make it easier to comfortably use. I also love the extended mouthpiece and have definitely notice a lot less “what did you say?” on the other end of the line since people can hear me better.On top of all of that, I have to mention the carrying case! It’s a perfect hard-plastic case that the headset and the extra ear pieces fit snugly into. This makes it SO much easier to toss the whole thing in my bag without having to dig around forever to find it.
