It is, frankly, ingenious – and very useful.This is essentially a length of flexible tubing, perhaps a bit more than two feet in length, folded in half with rubber cushion on what becomes the back and a bracket for a smartphone on the other end.My description doesn’t do it justice, so please do look closely at the pictures on the Amazon product page.The smartphone bracket is very unusual in that it holds the smartphone by its length, not its width. I used it with an LG V20, one of the largest phones on the market, and it fit with room to spare. It will work with some kinds of shell cases, but if you have PopTops or other handles, it won’t work.But there’s a problem here for the LG V20 and any other phone with the power switch on the back. On the LG V20, the back of the bracket covers up the power button and the cameras on the back.You can adjust the flexible cable to wrap this around you neck to use the phone, configure to serve as a stand and anything else you can think of.It’s really a very clever gadget and for the price can’t be beat.
