It came already on the riser. It cost a little more but was well worth it.I guess I don't know what you mean by a slip cover. Is your riser put under the mattress, like ours is? **Q: Is there a zip bag or something similar to store the elevator when not needed?** A: I ordered a zippered slip cover for it when it is on the bed. I don't take it off the bed - my husband needs it continuously. **Q: Thought I was buying a “full cover” with zipper, as described in the instructions page that came with these covers, but they’re not, do they make any?** A: I purchased my covers in Feb 20 2020 from the Avana Comfort / Jaxx Bean Bags ,Factory Direct.Mine has a zipper which totally encloses the entire foam elevation pad. **Q: I ordered the king size foam and it’s two pieces. Does the cover come as two as well or is it one cover to include both pieces?** A: The cover is in 2 pieces also.. there are no zippers they just go over like a fitted sheet would with a Velcro strap going under to hold them on.. they fit well..
