My battery is in the trunk. I'll need to buy an extension to mount the button in the front.** A: I don’t know the length of the control wire but I can say that if you have a four door vehicle then it won’t be long enough. I purchased an extra control wire because my battery is also in trunk and spliced the two together so it could be mounted next to drivers seat. Otherwise I would have had to mount next to rear seat and if battery is turned then getting into back seat is not practical 😂 since you won’t be able to unlock rear door with electric locks.
