Not a traditional puffer jacket as what little down there is, jacket did not expand much when removed from bag. Two large exterior zipper pockets. Two massive non-zipper kangaroo, interior pockets. Cinch cord at waist. I am 6' and 220 and xxl fit with extra arm length. No extra stomach room. YKK nylon? zipper. Overall, a quality jacket for the price. I was more than sure that he will say -return it. He loves it. Light, warm, the XL fits him well. He is 5.8, weights 186 pounds and has a little of a "pouch". What I really like about this jacket is that it has two strings at the bottom inside the jacket, that allow to adjust how close it fits to the body. I (my husband does too) prefer it to the elastic in the bottom.
