The product comes with insufficient directions for operation. I tried for a day to figure out out and couldn't. Finally contacted customer service and they emailed a set of new instructions that we're spot on. Every function was easily set with the new instructions. Unfortunately, even though the new instructions were helpful the incubator still had issues. I tried for three days and could never get the humidity to stabilize. Customer service gave advice as to how to attempt and stabilize the humidity, because they we're so courteous I continued to try. I even stayed up until 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning trying to make it work. After the three days I just through the towel in and gave up! I tried but truly believe the incubator was faulty. I did suggest to customer service that the new directions they emailed me should be sent with the incubator the directions that did come with it were useless and to vague for the common person to use. I have read other reviews after returning and notice a lot of the same complaints as mine, as far as directions and humidity. I would give customer service a 4 🌟 because they we're responsive, helpful, and they did what they said they would do. I was refunded 100%. I do not recommend this product, to much work and frustration to go through to use the product. Also, it is not a good value. It was cheaply made for the price it cost. Hope this helps someone else along the way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ arrived fast *by D***A on April 14, 2019* Arrived in a timely fashion...alittle bigger than expected but will work for my budgie eggs ### ⭐ DO NOT BUY *by S***P on April 19, 2019* This incubator looks adorable and the reviews are mixed so I took a chance with it. Big mistake. It arrived with no instructions and very complicated settings. Only after researching online did I learn that there exists a 7 page complete booklet with comprehensive instructions. Why in the world this is not included in the box I have no idea. That would help greatly for a product of this price point. Testing on Day 1 - could not hold a temp for more than a couple hours and then the adapter totally blew, tripped my breaker and and the whole room went dark. Got a new adapter (correct voltage) for an additional $19 and it held temp but then humidity was either too high or too low. Constantly having to add a squirt of water, even waking to check overnight. Then ordered a second guage (ANOTHER $20) to get an accurate humidity reading and still had to keep adding water in small increments daily. Finally got to Day 7 to candle eggs. Half were growing. Half not. Today, a week later, came home and temperature was up to 113!! I have no idea how long. All chicks dead. Cooked. Spent $50 on 10 rare breed chicken eggs; $80 on the incubator; $19 on new adapter; $20 on new hydrometer and two weeks later I have NOTHING but a bunch of hot cooked eggs and a alot of wasted time and money. I am so frustrated and upset. 1 star is not low enough.
