I am not entirely sure that changing a bridge is a game changer for a bass but feel relatively certain that it improved the tone and sustain of my bass. This was the final modification after installing an Audere Preamp and Bartolini pickups. The bridge fit on my Squier '70's vibe Precision Bass perfectly. The holes matched up exactly and it was very easy to install with no modification needed to the bass or the bridge.
