## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this to strap my sleeping mat to the rucksack ?**
A: That is a possible although I don’t know if there is enough adjustment on the straps to give enough length.  What I got them for was to stop the straps on a small backpack from slipping off the shoulders and they do that job fine.  The straps are of course fitted across the chest.

**Q: I like to sling by backpack over one shoulder when walking, can these be attached in a way to stop it slipping off one shoulder?**
A: You would need a longer strap which would go around your body

**Q: Some reviews say that these are wide for sternum straps. Would they work better as waist straps, if they're long enough?**
A: I like them as sternum straps and find them comfortable I don’t find them too wide.

**Q: How do you attach please. I'm a novice hiker!**
A: It goes round your backpack straps.
