And a very good case overall. *by B***! on July 28, 2016* I wanted a Case for my Surface Book to protect my investment especially when i need to take it everywhere with me in a laptop backpack. I was researching for a good shock-proof and water resistant case and everyone i spoke to only asked me to go with Thule case. I saw this on Amazon at half the price of Thule Case and also read the reviews. It was a lot of help from one of the reviews which confirmed that the Surface Book fits in it. So i thought of taking a chance by buying this instead of Thule for my Surface Book and save some money. I have to say that i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case when i received it. First let me say that the packaging of this case exceeded my expectations and it did arrive on time. As soon as i got it, i just put my Surface Book in it to check if it fits and Tada.... It fit the surface book pretty well. There's some room on the sides but it gives the opportunity to leave the Surface Pen attached. The Quality of the Case is pretty good and almost matches to the Thule Case which i had a chance to look at in Best Buy stores. It has been close to 3 weeks and i have no qualms about this case. I recently bought a 13" macbook pro retina and was looking for a similar type of hard case that was more reasonable in cost. I received the Unik case and used it for my macbook pro 13" for trip to the Philippines. It worked really well for 1/2 the price of the Thule Gauntlet which now seems overpriced.If you are looking for an alternative to the Thule Gauntlet, this is your answer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Broke, but saved my computer's life *by M***S on March 22, 2018* The case fit well, had a good grip so it wouldn't slip from your hand if you carried it, and stood up perfectly to liquid spills and minor bangs and falls. I had it in my backpack (with my laptop inside) when I slipped and fell on some ice and the front left corner hit the ground, breaking the zipper and effectively ruining the case. My laptop didn't have a scratch on it, though, so this was $28 well spent. I'll probably be buying another one, though I'm going to look into some other brands as well.The mouse is also nice.
