This elevated the game to another level as it utilises the gamecube analog triggers which are not present on either the switch joycon or pro controllers and the difference was up to 3.5 seconds a lap depending on the circuit.Also used it with Smash ultimate and it works well there too.Simple to set up, simply plug into the switch dock USB port and then plug the gamecube controller in. Console will recognise it as a wired controller right away. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Mario Kart 8 on switch! *by M***Z on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 March 2019* So far, a great product! I use it with my switch and my brother tested it out on his computer and it works perfectly! I now play Mario Kart with my old GC controller rather than the joy con's as I find it makes for a tighter, more satisfying experience. It also means I can do 4 player with 4 controllers rather than the single joy con's which is nice! However, don't get if you don't play a lot of Mario Kart or Smash bros as GC controllers don't work well in all games e.g breath of the wild and splatoon which are designed more around the functions of the joy con's such as the ZL and stick buttons.
