He is a normal regular sized boy, but the sleeves were tight and too short on him even though the sweater was baggy and long on him. It is also a very lightweight thin material. I tried it on his younger brother who has just turned 11 this month and the sleeves fit him better though still somewhat slim and tight on him too, but at least the sleeve length is right for an 11 year old. He does not mind that it is baggy and too large for him otherwise.
