**Q: How do i get the part # from the control switch, cover shows nothing. Control switch looks a bit old, house was built in 1968. Original hvac system**
A: Did you remove the cover and look on the back side of the cover? That's where I found mine.  If so, and still no model number, I suggest you call Grainger, a business that may be able to help you with tracing the original and suggesting an appropriate replacement. My replacement has made a HUGE difference in the efficiency of my unit. JKE

**Q: What is the difference between the 2228 and the3515 controlers and are they interchangeable?**
A: hi Jane, I think that they are basically the same. they both turn the blower on and shut it off at your settings,(125 and 100 norm) and they both have the high limit control,(also adjustable).
