I am very pleased with this! I was very leery this would not be good for price compared to others on the market. Wrong - It's great! It is bright enough to trace the thin black printer lines through 140 lb watercolor paper, or from an existing 140lb paper drawing onto another sheet of 140lb. That's right! Through two layers of 140 lb watercolor paper! The light pad is super thin, barely 1/4 inch thick, and portable. It's usable space is exactly one US letter size sheet of paper. Just be aware you need a USB power source within 5 ft to operate it, not a problem for me. This one does not have the cute little magnets like the others like the others. No problem I just tape my printer paper down and then tape the watercolor paper down on one edge. Very cost-effective because I only use it once in a blue moon to trace a pre-printed line drawing color wheel reference onto thick watercolor paper with a thin permanent black Sharpie for my new hand painted watercolor palettes. I am new at sketching and bought this pad to use for difficult stuff. I am trying to limit the number of times I erase so the erasure marks do not show. I got the pad yesterday and have used it quite a bit already. This pad is as advertised. It is black, thin, 9x12, looks well built, and is very light weight. There is a button to turn the back light on and I plug it into one of the USB ports on my laptop. I noticed when I plugged it in that the USB end that plugs into the computer is tight. I had to really push to get it to go in. This model was the lowest priced on the Amazon page, but I wanted to test it before I considered buying a higher priced model. This one does not have a lot of bells and whistles. It turns on, has a nice light, and does what I need. I may be too new at this to realize what I am missing by buying this simple one. The pad does not turn off on its own; you have to press a button. The paper I laid directly on the glass did not slide or move on its own. It stays unless you manually lift the paper and remove it. To trace something, you have to have the image on a piece of paper that you can then place on the glass. So I found the image, printed it using my PC printer, and then used the pad to trace it onto the sketch paper. The tracing was easy. I kept my touch light to prevent damage to the glass. The touch is light. This is good for sketching, but the on/off switch turns off easily if your arm or hand touches it. I will update this in a month or so after I have used it more.

I was pleasantly surprised by this LED Copy Board! The bright, even lighting makes tracing and sketching so much easier without straining my eyes. It's lightweight, slim, and easy to store, making it perfect for artists, crafters, and kids alike. The adjustable brightness is a great feature, allowing me to customize the lighting for different projects.

Okay, so 5 stars with some caveats to keep in mind. This is not a premium tool, you get what you pay for, but for the price point it's perfect. This is a piece of edge-lit acrylic. Same tech as those glowing "Emergency Exit" signs you always see. It is USB-powered, but bear in mind it's micro-USB (no type-C). This is a big reason they can keep the price down. It comes with its own cable, and conveniently has an L-shaped plug. The panel is very light and thin, not even 1/4" thick, and has multiple brightness settings. The brightest setting is very bright, but doesn't strain the eye (in my case, at least). The black borders are seemingly UV-printed on. They might not be perfectly-aligned, but it's not egregious. Again, price point. It has small rubber feet on the bottom side to keep it from sliding. This is nice if you draw on a raised or slanted work surface. If you tend to lean hard onto your work, maybe add two more rubber feet in the center so as not to bow the work surface (acrylic is flexible, unlike glass). There is also a ruler printed on the top side of the panel. Not super-useful for me, but it's a nice touch and doesn't get in the way. Overall, highly recommend this panel. It performs well, and is cheap enough that I'm not going to be super-mad if it dies or gets damaged.

The board is very bright which is nice but anyone that is thinking of purchasing this item please keep in mind that you will need to be very careful with transporting the board because it's very thin and another thing to keep in mind when purchasing this item that I didn't know before hand is that this board will only work and turn on when it is plugged into a micro-usb cord. It does not run on batteries. This makes it less compatible when it comes to using it on the go. You will always need to be closer to a power source in order for it to work

I had another light box, which unfortunately, wasn't fit for the what I need it for. This is excellent, lovely bright light that streams through thick paper, and very lightweight so easy to move around.

If you own a Cricut or Silhouette, this is a total must-have crafting tool! Highly recommend for anyone who weeds vinyl regularly. ✨

As expected and happy with build quality. Not used often enough yet but seem to do the job. Should have got the A3 version like the one in the picture or is that a child’s hand!
