    Words that I carry with me.

I am a 4-year survivor of pancreatic cancer.  Someone gave me a stone that says, "Strength."  I carry it with me everyday. Now I also carry the stones that say, "Courage" and "Believe."  Those words are my Mantra.  I see so many people suffering from cancer each week when I go for my chemo treatment.  I bought these stones so I could pass them on to my chemo patient partners.  I would like to see more stones with words that give chemo patients a reason to hope.

I like the size of these rocks.  I am giving them to a group of friends and they are a perfect "small" keepsake.  One of them, however, was broken on the end.  It did not interfere with the wriing on it, but it was broken.  Another was cracked.

I wanted something for my middle school students that would be celebratory,  memorable, and help them stay connected as the school year ended. The stones were the perfect gift. Over several days, as students reached into the protective bag and chose a beautifully engraved stone, we reflected on the meaning of each gift.
