Question 1

How do you remove the dead white bugs all over the rug? Vacuuming, vigorously shaking and combing did Not work!!!

Accepted Answer

Dear customer,

Thank you for bringing your concerns about the white bugs on your cowhide rug to our attention. We understand your frustration, and we would like to provide you with some reassurance.

The white "bugs" you are observing on your cowhide rug are actually suede leather pieces that are a natural characteristic of cowhide rugs. These pieces are remnants of the tanning and finishing process and are commonly found in genuine cowhide products. We assure you that they are not actual bugs or indications of an infection.

Vacuuming, shaking, and combing are effective methods for regular cleaning and maintenance of rugs. However, they may not entirely remove these suede leather pieces due to their inherent nature and attachment to the rug. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and providing any assistance you may need.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Luxury Cowhides
