Review: The best basic scale on the market - With over 4,000 reviews on this product, there is nothing I can say that has not already been said, but I will simply echo the opinion of other reviewers here to say that this is a great, quality scale. For over ten years I used various other digital scales with middle success. I had pretty much resigned to just basing my weight off of what the scale said, and knowing that was a ballpark, and my "true weight" was within 4 or 5 pounds. As long as I didn't move the scale and always used it at the same time, I was okay with that. Now, I am very obsessed with weight and fitness. I like knowing exactly how much my weight has changed from day to day. If I go on a long run, I like to know exactly how much weight I have lost, which gives me an indication of how much fluid I need to drink to replace the water I sweated out. With the EatSmart Precision scale, I finally have that option. The number one reason to purchase this scale is the accuracy. I performed several tests when I received the scale, which involved weighing dumbbells multiple times, and moving the scale to different areas of my house. Every time, the scale gave me the exact weight of the dumbbell. I could never get these kind of results with my previous digital scale. A 35lb weight weighs exactly 35 lbs. The other advantages to this scale are that you don't have to tap it to activate it before stepping on. All you do is step on it and you have a reading within about 3 seconds. It does require that you calibrate it every time you move it, but that is very easy to do, since you just tap it to calibrate it. It takes a few seconds to read zero weight, then it is ready to use. The display is very large and bright, so you don't have to strain your eyes or bend down to read it. It has a glass base that is attractive and looks nice in any room. Lastly, it provides measurements in .2 lb increments, so you can get very accurate results. When you add on the very affordable price, there is really no reason to consider any other basic scale over the EatSmart Precision.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Scale is Nine Years Old and Still Works Wonderfully Well

Its been nearly nine years (September, 2017) since I purchased this scale for the first time, and it's finally died (after a long and illustrious life of measuring my weight). So, I decided to buy another of the same model given that it worked so well and was inexpensive. I've had great experience with "Eat Smart," with this scale and with their digital Kitchen scale. I'm pretty amazed at the quality of their product. Thanks! Apparently, I didn't write a review when I first got the scale. My bad. I'm glad to fix that oversight now. The scale is very accurate, to two tenths of a pound. If I weight myself, step off the scale and step back on the same weight comes back up. The display is very easy to read. The scale is made rock solid with a thick plate of tempered glass to stand on.
