Disclosure: After I contacted the seller to correct inaccuracies in their product listing, they sent me a pair of these brackets as a thank you for my technical feedback. I was impressed with how they performed on my build, so I purchased another set to finish my project. I am writing this because this seller is much more professional than other vendors I’ve dealt with on Amazon. I reached out to them regarding some inconsistencies in their weight-rating claims; unlike other sellers who simply ignored me, this company was receptive and updated the listing immediately to provide accurate data. If you want hardware from a company that values accuracy over marketing claims, these guys are a solid choice. I’m using these 22-inch brackets for a custom mobile miter saw station. I’ve installed four of them to support two folding side wings, and each wing weighs about 30 lbs. Performance Observations: Stability: The brackets hold the wings perfectly level with zero sagging. They lock securely and remain stable in the free-standing position. Design: I specifically chose this model because of the long release lever. It’s much safer and easier to operate than the shorter, mid-bracket levers on most other brands, which usually end up pinching your fingers. Build Quality: These are substantial, beefy brackets made from robust stainless steel that feels well-engineered. They aren’t the flimsy aluminum you often find elsewhere. The kit also includes two different screw sizes, which was helpful for getting a secure mount on my build. These are easily some of the best brackets I’ve used for shop furniture. They perform exactly as described and are a noticeable step up from the other options out there.

Probally have 25 lbs on an oversize shelf that these support. No issues.

I use these for shelving out side mounted to a shipping container. The shelf is used for welding, grinding, and has a vise connected to it. It support a good amount of weight. They are easy to install. They are very well made. The finish is very good for being outside no visible signs of rust.

Worked so well in the laundry room for fold out folding table that, I bought two more sets, one for garage and another in the entry closet. Important note - I mounted a half inch thick board to the wall and mounted these brackets on the board instead of directly on the wall. That spacing allow for the shelf to hinge down and be aligned at the same angle as the wall.

Excellent folding shelf brackets. However, I knew the screws and anchors supplied would never be sufficient if used on Sheetrock walls. I used 1/4” diameter, 2 1/2” long coarse thread lag screws into the wall studs. Anything less is inviting disaster. Great product, very satisfied with my purchase. A 3/16” pilot hole is required if using this size lag screw.

Awesome product that is easy to install and use. A great way to add additional workspace when needed, and a free up space when not needed. I highly recommend this product.

The product came as broken and the seller didn't honor the return. Even Amazon kept postponing the issue after repeated calls with their executives. Number provided by Seller didn't get connected on multiple occasions. Save yourself from buying this crap and avoid this seller at all costs.

Perfect for what I needed. I didn’t have enough counter space in my small apartment. So I installed a fold down table to create more space off the end of the counter, but could also be compacted. It turned out very well. Sturdy and it’s one of the only brackets I found that doesn’t have much space between the hinges, which creates less gap space from the counter. Board was purchased and cut at Home Depot....Perfect
