    They work as expected

I bought these for winter commuting on my motorcycle. I have used them on a dozen trips so far. For me, I think they are working out pretty well.I live in the South East where the coldest days may be in the teens. So far with these gloves I am comfortable riding in the sub 30's. If I include a thermal insert, I can handle the low 20's to higher teens. Allow me to define what comfortable is for me:I am comfortable as long as my core isn't cold and my fingers aren't numb. In the 30's my fingers get cold in these gloves, but not a big deal. Not much pain. When I approach the 20's, I will start feeling cold pain in my fingers within 15 - 20 minutes on my commute. But I can handle that for commuting purposes. With some cold tolerance, these gloves do the job. These gloves alone will not make you comfortable riding in the cold. You need a measure of endurance and cold tolerance. If you have that tolerance, glove shopping is so much easier, making gloves like this do what you need them to do. If you can't learn to tolerate the cold to a reasonable degree, you are better off spending more money on heated gear. It really doesn't take long to build a tolerance. One of two things are bound to happen in winter riding. A) You reach your destination, or B) You freeze to death. My gear selection revolves around making sure A happens before B.I have no experience riding in the single digits or colder, so I can't speak to those temperatures. Also note that the fingers are a little long, but they don't give me any issues using the controls or unbuckling my helmet. It takes some initial adjustment. For all you southeast riders, I definitely recommend these gloves.

    Cold weather motorcycle glove

*by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2015*

I used these gloves for my 30 min each way motorcycle commute in the winter. My drive is mostly interstate driving into Seattle on my Honda VFR.Results:- With a 80mph wind chill (no hand guards) my hands are warm at 40+ degrees (23 degrees wind chill)- The worst conditions I have used them in has been in a hard rain at 34 degrees drive 80 mph (14 degrees wind chill). My hands where very cold after 30 minutes but still able to function enough to use my controls (break, turn signal, clutch).- The gloves are thick, so dexterity is diminished but still enough to use all the motorcycle controls.Option:- I believe it would add in protect my hands in crash, with its soft leather but I will not be purposefully testing this feature.Would I recommend to a friend?Yes.... if I had any that would ride in the winter.

    They Look and Work Great.

These gloves are very comfy and warm. I bought them for winter riding here on the Oregon Coast. Temperatures here in the winter are typically around 35 degrees. I have a 15 minute commute to work on the highway at 60 miles an hour. My finger tips get a little cold, but its not uncomfortable. I think any gloves, other than some heated ones, are going to let some cold in. They go over my jacket cuffs and keep the wind out of my sleeves. I got a size bigger in case a I wanted to put another pain of thin gloves underneath, but haven't had the need. The only down side is their bulkiness, but if you want to keep your hands warm in cold weather, you're going to have to suck it up. You get used to it after a while, but some times its hard to work your turn signals.
