We use them for the UV beads and pony beads. I think what you're describing is just too small. **Q: Will this fit for a 4 mm bead? And is it more durable than the regular elastic beading string?** A: I’m sorry but I honestly don’t know. We had only used string that was more like stretchy fishing line before using this kind. We made lots of bracelets that have seemed very sturdy. **Q: Would i be able to use this for 11/0 czech seed beads? (approximately 2 mm in diameter- very small beads)** A: I am not sure about the diameter of seed beads. I used this cord to restring a stretchy bracelet. The holes were slight bigger than the cord, and this cord worked perfectly without a needle. The manufacturer's description says 1 mm. So I don't know if that helps or not. Looking at the cord, it seems to me that it would NOT fit very small seed beads.
