Whether you are loading up a large bale of hay, or pulling the engine out of a vintage project car and want to know exactly what the long block weighs, or build this into some other kind of portable scale, this when paired with a scale head can tell you the answer in seconds.It has been used in both blistering heat and bitter cold, and it appears to be well within my accuracy requirements at both ends of these extremes. It has proven to be very handy when loading a flatbed trailer to directly measure tongue weight to help calculate the weight and balance during pre-trip for safe loading.
