It is designed to fit in a recessed area above the license plate, creating a look similar to factory installed cameras. Available in black, the DUO features a Zinc-Alloy body and waterproof certification like the MINy. It also shares the same Super CMOS III image sensor with Night Vision™ technology, 150-degree viewing range and selectable parking assist marker view. But this camera has its own unique feature: you can electronically set the viewing angle of the camera based on how it is mounted. Review: Excellent night vision, great quality! - Used this for the backup camera with my Pioneer AVH-4100NEX in my 2008 Scion xB. The installation directions were not the best, but common sense took over and I was able to install the system easily (except for pulling the wires through the hatch door and through the factor wiring grommets, which took 4 hours by itself!) I routed the wire from the headunit down to the left side of the vehicle and then down the left side under the door sills and up to the hatch grommet. That got the "box" on the wiring to the base of that grommet. If you have a larger wagon or SUV, you may need a RCA extension cable. I ended up running the cable into the hatch door and pulled power from the license plate lights (to allow for the AVH-4100NEX's Camera View function, and connected my headunit's reverse signal wire into the car's reverse signal wire under the dash, so the camera still comes on in reverse). Drilling and physically mounting the camera was the easiest part. Picture quality was okay during the daytime: a little grainy, but still clear enough to read the trashcan 5 feet behind the car. However, the night time view was the clincher. I was AMAZED! I've always had trouble backing up the xB at night (huge C-pillars, gun-slit rear window, and a single inadequate reverse light on the lower left side of the bumper). This camera was so clear and evenly illuminated, I couldn't believe it. I would totally buy this again, just for the night time viewing alone. Daytime: OK, Nighttime: EXCELLENT! Lots of options to install: has option for guidelines (I connected those wires to turn them off as my headunit had adjustable ones), can flip the image (to allow for installing on a vertical surface (I left those unconnected as mine was installed horizontally on the trim above the license plate), and you have options for where you pull your power and reverse signal from. This is a well built (seemingly solid metal body), easy install (depending on how you run your wires), and great picture quality (especially at night). Highly recommended!
Review: OEM lookalike with decent video quality - Looks almost OEM on my WRX hatch. Picture is good, but grainy compared to the actual OEM backup camera on my other car. Overall good product though.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceeded expectations at a low cost!!! How can you beat that?

Hands down, I truly believe that this is the best camera I could have purchased. It installed easily (see pictures), wired up with no issues, and it works better than I expected. The camera image can be flipped and it is a snap to shift the views. You can also choose to delete the guidelines if you like. It works well in bright sunlight and extremely low light by auto-adjusting to the conditions. I am amazed at the width and depth of the view and the ease at which it incorporated into my radio. The first time I hitched my trailer with the camera I simply backed right into position, got out of my truck and lowered the hitch. With more than a 900 lb tongue weight, it is a pleasure to no longer have to wrestle the hitch onto the ball. No running back and forth to get it aligned just right and with the terrific picture, you can easily see what adjustments you need to make as you back under the hitch. An added (and perhaps more important) benefit is that the camera now lets me now see behind my truck when I am backing up so kids, toys, or animals are no longer a huge worry. Truly a terrific buy at a fantastic price and I'd recommend this camera to anyone.
