A: It clips on the light holder on a hard hat.

**Q: Is this product msha approved?**
A: No they are not but they need to be. These lights are awesome. They meet all the criteria but haven’t been Naha approved Mine holds up two days on bright.  I’ve Sold about ten of these to my buddies. (Brandon)

Hands down the best light for the money. I purchased one about ten years ago that I use for boating at night and waterfowl hunting. The charging pin rusted and I haven't been able to charge it for over a year. It's still working and bright as ever. I just purchased another one because I know the old one is going to loose charge at some point.
