I'll use it for a while and if it holds up I'll give it another star. Received 10/2/19 Update: after two days of use this knife has grown on me, I'm still nervous about the thin blade but, so far so good. 10/13/19 update: good luck sharpening this knife, most of my knives are m390 and I have a lot of experience in sharpening them with a kme, the edge rolls over no matter what I do, either this is a bad batch of m390 or it was improperly heat treated. You need to flick you wrist a little to get it to open. Without that wrist flick, the blade just open's partially. Although the knife stays pretty sharp, the blade steel can stain easily, so make sure you keep it clean. The action is snappy, the build is solid, the steel is superb. Definitely has hogged all my pocket time and the other knives in my collection are quite jealous. The only downside is the handle material feels a little cheap, the front choil-ee thing should have been made bigger to make it more usable, and the handle could have been shaped more ergonomically.
