I was actually looking for a sidewalk scraper to scrape away mud that sometimes comes onto my patio when it rains really hard, so the rake was like a bonus. Both are really nice, with good sturdy handles that are different but appropriate for the weight and use of the tools. I can see that I will also be able to use the scraper for ice and probably for edging as well, as it is well made and heavyweight. The rake is just the right weight and size to be able to maneuver around tight spots easily. They're going to work out great in keeping my patio area neat. The head came off at the base so I twisted it back on. After several times, about 5 times, of twisting back on, the handle broke in the middle. It is now useless. The metal leaf rake seems to be okay at this time but I have not used it but once.
