The JourneyGym’s portability is second to none, and I get a great workout when I use it outside the house. Since I normally train almost daily at a fitness center, I do not use the product on a day-to-day basis. The product appealed to me from day one because of two distinct advantages the product offers – its true portability and the style of workout one receives from it. The portability is second to none – it travels well and sets up quickly. The workouts are different from a “classic” gym workout, and they can be very tough! Since muscle confusion is a big factor in workout efficiency, the JourneyGym provides me with a workout different than my “normal” one, which really means that the workout I receive is quite effective. The only reason I give the product four stars (versus five) is due to the fact that I do not use it on a day-to-day basis and do not know how effective it is when used in that manner. I love that it is something that I can easily set up and then put away when I am done. With three little kids in the house I do not have room to leave out all kinds of exercise equipment.Also, I am not one who likes to go to a gym. I am a full-time working mom so finding the time to set aside to travel back and forth to a gym is difficult for me. I love that I can workout any time of day and that I don't have to commit to hours at a time to see results.At first I honestly questioned how effective a 10 minute workout really could be. However, after sticking with even just 10 minutes a day for couple weeks, I realized I was able to increase the amount of time I was able to work out as well as the level of intensity I could complete. This is a big deal for me as I am not motivated to commit to exercise classes or programs where I have to set aside an hour or hours at a time to participate and see benefits.I have also greatly appreciated the videos as well. I do not think I would use the Journey Gym without them. They are easy to follow and I can workout for 10 minutes or keep going and complete a longer workout if I so wish.Finally, I love that this exercise equipment/program is encouraging. I don't have to set aside great amounts of time or commit tons of money to a gym to find success in working out. I greatly appreciate that I can work out for just a few minutes a day and really know that little by little I am stronger, healthier, and more fit overall. It speaks to the idea that great things usually don't come about overnight but take time.
