Okay, she did want a skateboard with kittens or rainbows, but they just don't make those (thank goodness). I did use the supplied tools to loosen up the parts so she can ride and steer this thing. I am about 195 pounds and have taken this thing for a ride down the street without issues. It is really well made and this will last for a really long time.
