received the chair. easy to assemble which is a plus. inside however looked like a repack, but decided to assemble anyway. chair is great looking. doesnt collapse when sat in. sturdy, firm. here is the not so good news. if your tall, over 6'3 ill guess, you will have difficulty. the arms of the chair are connected to far to the back of the chair. what this causes is an issue where if the arms are too far back, and your tall when you go to get up, the chair may shoot out from behind you into a wall and cause a falling issue. other issue is the back of the chair. back of the chair is too close to the end of the seat. with that said you are losing prime real estate of the seat to sit properly into it. so again, when you go to get up youre closer to the front of the chair and can risk falling or chair shooting out. i tried all i could to use and save this purchase, but am going to wind up returning.. other than that for a shorter person, this would be fantastic.

Build quality is good

The chair back already looked worn. I was just concerned that the chair would wear quickly, specifically the mesh back. It didn't do well in travel and our staff can be kind of rough on furniture. It may have been due to packaging but I didn't want to take the chance so it was sent back without being put together.

I would think twice about buying a serta office chair again. I have one that when it was less than a year old had trouble with the seat and it is taken weeks and months to get any response from them for warranty replacement. They told me to take it back where I bought it, but because of their delays it is now out of warranty. They also told me that it was going to take months to get a new seat.

I bought this chair for my son. He said it’s very comfortable because he spend most of his time doing school work. 👍

Si eres una persona pesada, no es una buena opción, la espuma es muy débil, sentirás la base del asiento en pocas horas especialmente si ya tienes problemas de espalda, materiales regulares, lo esperado por el precio

Short Review: It's not the worst, nor the best. Just mediocre. There's definitely better out there especially if you're seeking an upgrade from the typical office chair like I was. Long Review: I bought this chair in August 2020 as a part of my work from home setup after using a barstool for five months. I was seeking a more-than-comfortable office chair as I started working longer hours and was debating between Serta and Tempur-Pedic. At the time the latter was sold out, so I settled with this. It was easy to assemble and the chair was easy to adjust. The size of the cushion is sizeable enough that I can cross my legs on the chair. My first impression of the cushion wasn't anything special. I expected more comfort than the average office chair since it's a Serta (definitely not expecting Tempur-Pedic comfort); It's just a thicker version of an office chair cushion at best. The lumbar support isn't much, but it provided me more than a backless and cushionless stool. After two months or so from sitting on this chair for 60+ hours a week, the base of the cushion started poking through and the chair started getting squeaky. I tried to find the source of the squeaking so I dropped some lubricant onto any joints that have friction, but the issue still persists.
