I did a lot of research and finally decided on this one. I can sit comfortably in my chair and use this. The velcro straps were too long so I doubled them over and pinned them, now it fits perfectly. There are 3 ways to stop the flow of air, the one in the picture is supposed to be pinched into the air way but I have never been able to do it and I have not had any issues with losing air.When you open the other two valves the collar releases air slowly which is fine and being the size it is makes it easy to travel with. I checked out many of them on Amazon. Some of the complaints about them that concerned me included odor, uncomfortable fabric, and air leakage. (I even checked out fakespot to see how deceptive the reviews were for each seller. This seller seemed like one of the better ones.)I am very sensitive to odors especially musty or plastic smells. This item had no nasty odors when I took it from the packaging. The material is a very soft velvet that is extremely comfortable. I have not had any problem with air leaking, but I can imagine with time this could happen. Everything wears out. I have used it several times daily for a month. Follow the instructions.Pump it to your comfort level. If it is causing you discomfort, deflate it some. If you continue to have problems, consult a professional. This has not cured my problem and I never expected that. It is just one tool that helps me get relief from the pain of herniated discs and spinal stenosis.
