Will the heat from the baseboard heater cause it to malfunction or worse?** A: Dude that's a terrible idea. You need the air gap below the heater for air circulation. You will greatly reduced you heating system output. Base board heaters use natural convective air circulation to work. **Q: can this be used in closed walls?** A: This product isn't meant to be used in closed walls. Not only does it expand rather quickly and could crack the walls, but the delivery method (spray) doesn't have a way to get into wall cavities. **Q: Can this product be used to insulate the panels of an insulated garage door?** A: Probably so. I used this like any other spray foam for another area. I HAVE used another brand of DIT kit foam to insulate my cheap aluminum garage door. Mine is the sectioned panel type. I sprayed each panel. The lip around the edge of each panel kept the foam in/on the panel. Works great. It's horrible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product for small jobs *by W***R on September 16, 2016* I really don't get the negative reviews for this product. I thought it was awesome! Easy to get started. Just screw in the canisters, clip in a mixing nozzle and you're ready to go. You will need to get your plan in order before you start. The nozzle will clog up in 30 seconds if you stop. They give you a few extra nozzles if you do have to stop. One coat seems to set up within a minute at about 1 1/2" thick. You don't have to move fast and I don't recommend going back over what you've laid down until it fully expands and sets.
