Customer support stated that you could only use the device with their app but you could manually enter into other apps. I also found out that if you put it on cycle tracking you can enter more info, otherwise most info input will be locked to paying customers. It’s a very good Thermometer I used it for a while but then invested in Tempdrop cause I always get up several in the night and I’m not a great sleeper. **Q: Do you have to input the temperature on the app or does it sync?** A: It does sync when you leave the bluetooth on and the app open. **Q: Can you record more than one temperature reading a day?** A: Yes. I used the Natural Cycles BBT thermometer originally which I loved but it bleeped when I turned it on and again once it was done, this meant that my husband woke up whenever I tested it and he felt lots of pressure starting everyday like that which led to him asking me to stop checking my temp. I missed it though as it not only told me when I had ovulated but also when my period was about to come - saved doing pregnancy tests therefore I could be much calmer and more organised.This thermometer allows you to select on the app if it does a beep, a vibrate, both or neither once the 3 minutes is up. It doesn’t make any noises when you open it and you can actually read the light up display whilst temping so you could have it completely silent (but I always snooze whilst measuring). My husband doesn’t wake up to the vibrate and even the beep is much nicer. The only problem I have with it is that the round shape makes it slightly more awkward to create a perfect seal but I’ve got the knack now.It takes a full 3 minutes to take the temp but it’s amazing the difference in accuracy between this and my 30sec one, my charts are totally smooth curves rather than jagged patterns like before.The other thing I love is the memory function, you can read lots of temps on the device itself but on the accompanying app so if like me you sometimes wake up in the middle of the night thinking it’s the morning and take your temp then fall back asleep you can see exactly what time you took all the temps at and pick the appropriate one.The app is easy to use but I don’t really like it because the cervical mucus codes are all letters so I don’t really understand them and the temp chart isn’t as clear as Kindara or Natural Cycles.I think the app needs to be open in the background of your phone to Bluetooth sync but it’s super fast.Basically - it has a couple little things which means it’s not perfect but I find it super easy to use and fits great into our routine. This is sturdy but I had a minor issue with the protective case coming apart in 2 when I took thermometer out - didn’t affect how the thermometer works. However, they replaced it so excellent customer service!Takes longer to read temp than Wink but I can live with that. The app is greatly improved at June 19 release but some of the terminology hasn’t translated well. Excellent battery life- lasts for ages.Overall, in a new market, this is a good product & I’d recommend it. Light up screen is brilliant.Only down side is that when you download the app most of the app features are locked unless you enter your bank account detail before you can start the 12 months free trial, which I don’t want to do.
