The Catholic Children's Bible, Revised: (paperback)

Now that my kids are 8 and 9 and good readers, we decided to move up from a story book Bible and this was the perfect fit. This is like a regular Bible but with language that is appropriate for children to understand, and there are built in lessons that we've been going through as a family. I love that it kids Friendly and not intimidating for them to pick up and find the daily mass readings every morning. In less than a year my children have learned more about scripture then ever before, great as a first communion gift. They will use this one until they are mature enough for a leather bound Bible in highschool, like the great adventure Bible by Jeff Cavins, which is my personal favorite adult Bible.

It is perfect for children up to 12 years. This bible makes the sories, parables come to life and easy for children to understand. Which is great because Im 72 and I still don't understand it all. I guess that is why, we have bible study classes.

Bought this for my daughter and she really loved it. You can understand it more than reading the regular Bible.

Bought this bible for one granddaughter as a Christmas gift and have sinse bought one for my other grandchildren. We lucked out at mass that the bishop was offering, and he blessed it for her after mass. How special. He spoke highly of the layout and can see how inviting it is for those who are not yet ready for the teen youth bible, but want something more than the "story" bibles. It has enough graphics and color to be inviting while still being the full catholic bible. Includes breakaway sections to assist in discussion of historical context, how to live it, community service, prayers, etc. Shared with someone else at church who worked with children's ministry. She loved it as well and posted on the church facebook page. Very highly recommend. Let's encourage and engage our kids in the word.

I really liked this sometimes when I’m reading my Bible, I get confused with the wording and I like to read this afterwards and it explains it to me perfectly

My children have this bible at school and really wanted it for Christmas. It is well illustrated and written in a clear and easy manor for little ones. I know my son is going to love this bible.
