I have both the vg10 version and this one. This one is the winner, but I use them both. If I need more, I have some bunka knives. It is my first Enso. This is a gorgeous knife. Beautiful to look at. Superb attention to detail. Light weight and perfectly balanced. And VERY, VERY, VERY sharp... ### ⭐⭐ Dull after a few uses *by J***B on March 15, 2024* I'm extremely disappointed in the edge retention of this knife. I've only used it maybe 6 times over a couple months on a cutting board that's softer than hardwood, and the incredible sharpness it had when it was new is gone. I thought with a hardness of 63, it would stay sharp for a year or longer.
