And decided to try door bells instead. Best part is that I can use one receiver for 2 door bells. This makes things so much easier. I have one doorbell in my room and the other in the kitchen. Now it is so much easier to get the kids attention when they are in their room. We sat down and each kid picked out their sounds, one for back up alarm for getting up for school and the other to come into the livingroom/kitchen (dinner time or need them)We have been using them for a few days now and it is working great. The trouble I've had with previous wireless doorbell systems is the doorbell transmitter button. The ones I had did not last very long when exposed to the weather. The transmitter button in this Skypoint model is supposed to be waterproof, so I'm hopeful that it will hold up well. The only negative thing I found was that the ringer tones could be louder.
