I bought this for £20 on a recommendation from a fellow Single Malt enthusiast. I took a punt as I have had other Singleton malts that were not to my taste. Not bad, just not to my taste. This is ideal for anyone 'trying' to get into Single Malt Whisky. It is smooth with vanilla tones and not an inch of 'harshness' that can sometimes be evident in a whisky at this price. If you know a whisky drinker and are looking to buy but don't know what to go for, try this. At the very least they won't dislike it, even if it isn't to their personal preference. I enjoyed my first bottle so much I bought another before they run out.

This whisky was offered at a good price so I bought it.I'm no whisky connoisseur but enjoy a dram.I never put water in single malt whisky and this one was easily sipped without water.Overall a nice Speyside nip and would buy again.

Ich hatte einen unkomplizierten, aber nicht belanglosen Whisky erwartet – und genau das bekommt man hier auch: leicht zugänglich, aber mit eigener Handschrift.Nase (Aroma):Sehr angenehm – fruchtige Noten (grüner Apfel, Birne), etwas Vanille, ein Hauch Honig. Kein Rauch, keine Schärfe – eher süß und einladend.Geschmack:Weich und rund am Gaumen. Leichte Süße, Toffee, Karamell, ein Hauch von Nuss und vielleicht etwas Eiche im Hintergrund. Kein typischer „Sherry-Keule“-Whisky, sondern eher mild und ausgewogen.Abgang:Mittellang, sanft, leicht würzig – verabschiedet sich mit einem angenehmen Nachklang ohne Bitterkeit.Fazit:Ein wirklich solider Single Malt, der sowohl Whisky-Neulinge als auch erfahrene Genießer ansprechen kann – besonders, wenn man keine rauchigen Noten sucht. Er ist nicht überkomplex, aber charmant und gut ausbalanciert. Für den Preis absolut fair.Perfekt als Einstieg in die Welt des Single Malts – oder einfach als leichter Whisky für entspannte Abende.

Der Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master's Selection ist ein sehr ausgewogener und angenehm zu trinkender Whisky. Der Geschmack ist weich, rund und leicht fruchtig, mit einer dezenten Süße und ohne unangenehme Schärfe. Dadurch eignet er sich sowohl für Einsteiger als auch für erfahrene Whisky-Trinker.Er lässt sich pur genauso gut genießen wie mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser oder auf Eis. Besonders positiv finde ich, wie mild und harmonisch er ist, ohne dabei langweilig zu wirken.Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut für einen Scotch dieser Qualität. Für gemütliche Abende oder als Geschenk eine hervorragende Wahl.Klare 5 Sterne – kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Weicher, zugänglicher Single Malt aus Dufftown (Speyside). In der Nase süß und fruchtig mit Noten von Karamell, Vanille, Apfel und Birne. Am Gaumen mild, cremig und harmonisch, kaum Rauch oder Schärfe. Kurzer bis mittellanger, angenehm süßer Abgang. Ideal für Einsteiger oder als unkomplizierter Alltags-Whisky. Preis-Leistung sehr gut.
