I had my iPhone 6s battery replaced by Apple under their "we're sorry" program, and the new battery lasted only 4 months before it became too weak to use (needing to be charged twice a day even though it was mostly in the standby mode). This battery ran for two days under the same usage conditions and then was only at 35%. Also, I had a light spot on my phone's LCD, and I surmised it was related to the battery failure, some swelling putting pressure on the backlight panel. Sure enough, when I changed the battery, the light spot went away. The Apple battery had a bump where the light spot had been.
