A word of caution based on my own experience and what others have posted, if you're more used to arcade cabinets or DTV joystick devices that had a lot of play in the joystick, this one is very stiff with a small actual control area and if you slam it around too much you're likely to see the breaking I'm seeing in other customer reviews. Just the right size and terrific N/S/E/W response. The big fire buttons are perfect for the shooting/jumpimg games like DigDug and DonkeyKong. So simple to operate, no setup or programming, just plug into your laptop and game away.
