Our ceiling medallions are molded after historical flower and leaf pattern design. Our designers hand carve the original piece which is detailed with sharp lines and deep relief. Then we use the high density of polyurethane to form each medallion based on the original piece. The finished medallion is beautifully detailed, solid construction and lightweight. Our medallions can be cut, drilled, glued and screwed to add a hole for ceiling light or fan canopy. They are light weight and easy to install. Factory primed white ready for your paint. 16" OD x 12 1/5" ID x 1 2/5" P How to Install the Polyurethane Ceiling Medallion1.Turn off the power to the ceiling fan or light fixture at the breaker or fuse box. 2.Remove the cover plate on the fixture, and take a picture of the wiring. 3.Use an electrical tester on the wires to make sure the power is off, then disconnect the wiring and remove the fixture from the ceiling. 4.Cut the medallion solid center and trial fit the ceiling medallion to make sure it fits around the electrical box. 5.Apply polyurethane based construction adhesive to the back of the ceiling medallion. 6.Center the medallion over the electrical box, and press it against the ceiling. 7.Pull the medallion slight off the ceiling to allow air into the adhesive. 8.Press the medallion firmly back against the ceiling. 9.Reinstall the ceiling fan or light fixture and attach the wiring. 10.If needed, caulk around the medallion and paint it. ## Features - Make sure this fits by entering your model number. - 【Ultra Light & Healthy】 The Ceiling Medallions is made of 100% pure polyethylene and does not contain any other materials. I wanted a way to access the junction box if necessary without having to cut a new hole in the ceiling drywall. This medallion worked perfectly. I used a contractors adhesive on the outer edge and used painters tape to hold it in place while drying. To remove if necessary, I will score the outer edge and gently pry the medallion off to access my junction box.
